SYMMETRICKS: Loire

Upon returning with thousands of wonderful photographs
taken on a month-long roadtrip through the Loire region of France,
this series was created after being challenged to find a way
of rendering my images uniquely interesting & emotive.
My favourite subjects of aged buildings & ancient trees are intertwined by my manipulations
serving to enhance the magical, mystical aura of these already hauntingly historic places
which are the sole remaining witnesses to our human past.
I've since become addicted to the process of unpredictability in the creation of the
elaborate patterns & curious creatures whose faces tend to emerge among my works.
